Bought for my girlfriend and she loves it. Both of us were skeptical, because we believe that Acer was the kind of "brand X" vs HP, Dell, Samsung … but the reviews on Amazon are the key to give us a try … and as usual there lied. Love the way you use the card to the computer and camera flash istantly share / view photos. Well, deal with agreements and all.

Acer Aspire One AOD150-1577 10.1-Inch Diamond Black Netbook - 6.5 Hour Battery Life Review

I purchased this notebook in September, I wanted to wait a while before writing my review. Now I’m not going to regale you with all the technical stuff, there are others that have already done that very astutely. What I will say is that this is one of the best tech gadgets that I have ever perchased. So far I have had no problems at all. I brought the Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Black) as I am not very adapt at using a touch pad. I also brought the NU Slim USB External SuperMulti Drive DVD Burner ESW860 so that I could back up my hard drive and add any programes to the notebook. My main reason for buying this notebook was to be able to play Solitaire, Scrabble, Yahtzee and surf the net while watching TV the Acer One fits the bill.

I was torn between this and the netbook ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X. I could not do all the people who had problem with the AC adapter and battery for the Asus so I chose the Samsung and could not be happier. There's nothing worse than a portable device that has the power of business.

I also purchased the portable DVD player and installed Office 2003 and have seen a number of films and works regularly with no problems. Battery life is excellent.

I recently purchased this laptop through Amazon.com exact Basics and I'm going to make a list of pros and cons.

PRO

1. The startup speed is pretty good for a mininotebook. It's actually faster than my VAIO laptop size.
2. Setting up the wireless was very easy. Is no more difficult than any other computer.
3. Build quality is very good with regard to laptops go
4. The battery should be excellent even if they were just using the wall charger w /.
5. Keyboard is a good size case to examine how the laptop is on the whole … placement of some buttons that I have to get used to though.
** 6. Do not forget to visit the Toshiba web site, because there are many updates available for this laptop. How much of a difference they make is debatable, but they are still there.

Purchased to fullfill a niche, which it did very very well, although I upgraded the battery to a 12 cell, the RAM to 2GM, and the operating system to XP Pro, now I use it almost exclusively finding it to perform better than my expectations.

I am an American citizen in Venezuela. I work as a sworn translator for a living. I bought this little gadget for the quality of life to get so I can work in the garden or on the beach or traveling. So, I thought to obtain benefits from 60-day trial of Microsoft Office 2007 and then purchase the product, if I liked it, otherwise I buy Office Professional. I tried to ask the license key to activate the product and would not let me because I live in Venezuela. My mind is inconceivable. I am really angry with this and that is why I gave it two stars.

I did a search netbook to death before I bought my NB205. I am very satisfied. It just breathes quality. There is no problem to play videos from YouTube or other video standard definition is on the net. Many have complained, rightly concerned about the low volume unit. Toshiba has a new Realtek audio driver will increase its support site, the volume recorded something.

Toshiba has also installed a cool little utility 'which makes it easy to find and connect to wireless networks. It's cool, in a residential unit (as passengers) and see the constellation of Eddy wireless networks around you.
